New updates and improvements to Minikai.

Add files to chat, Budget & Insights dashboards

Drop files straight into chat for the Mini to read inline, get visibility on your workspace usage with new Budget and Insights dashboards, and self-serve billing through the Stripe portal. Plus fine-grained authorisation is generally available, and Claude Opus 4.6 is supported.

What's New

  • Add files to chat — attach files directly to a conversation via the paperclip button or drag-and-drop. The Mini reads the content inline across the whole conversation. Supports PDF, DOCX, XLSX, CSV, Markdown, text, and images. A floating Context card in the top-right shows what is currently attached so you always know what the Mini can see.
  • Budget dashboard — a new Budget page under Workspace admin shows credits and storage used against your included allowance for the current billing period. Workspace admins can set a per-meter dollar cap so AI chat is throttled the moment a cap is hit, instead of unbounded overage.
  • Insights dashboard — a new Insights page shows your org-level chat activity: weekly user messages over time and an all-time count per user, so admins can see who is getting value from Minikai and how engagement is trending.
  • Manage billing in Stripe — a Billing page under Workspace admin opens a one-click Stripe Customer Portal session, so workspace admins can update payment methods, change plans, and download invoices without leaving Minikai.
  • Fine-grained authorisation is generally available — label-based, per-user permissions on Records and Minis are the standard model across the platform.
  • Workspace agent respects your label permissions — when searching, fetching, and citing across Minis and records, the workspace agent only uses content you have access to.
  • Sidebar Label filter — the sidebar now slices by label, so it's easier to focus on the slice of work you care about.
  • Claude Opus 4.6 available — the platform now supports Anthropic's most capable model for harder reasoning and longer-context tasks.
  • Smart label suggestions for bulk import — when importing records from a spreadsheet, Minikai now suggests labels per row based on the content, so bulk tagging is faster and more consistent.

Improvements

  • Chat scroll no longer hijacks the page during streaming — long AI responses stream into view without yanking you to the bottom; the user-message slide is restored so you can read what you asked alongside the answer.
  • WCAG 2.2 AA audit fixes across the app shell — focus rings, contrast, and keyboard navigation tightened up across navigation, dialogs, and forms.
  • UI polish across the app — restored markdown spacing in chat responses, more visible chat scrollbar with better padding, larger document viewer, alphabetically sorted workspace switcher, vote buttons only on the latest assistant message, and improved mobile viewport sizing.

Minikai Portal, stop button & smoother long chats

The new Minikai Portal gives you per-workspace insights, usage, and billing in one place. Plus you can now stop the agent mid-response, and a long list of reliability fixes across chat, citations, and exports.

A complete authorisation overhaul — Minikai now supports label-based, per-user access control for both Records and Minis. Plus a fully custom user management experience, chat message feedback, and interactive document generation.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed 409 Conflict errors when editing records after they transition from processing to active — the edit panel now stays in sync with the latest record state.
  • Fixed a false error toast that appeared when saving a draft record with an attachment, even though the file uploaded correctly.

Rich text records & smarter prompt suggestions

Records now support rich text formatting with headings, bold, italic, and lists, and new prompt recommendations across Support at Home and NDIS workspaces make it easier to get useful answers from the workspace agent.

Four new AN-ACC prompt recommendations help residential aged care users with reclassification scanning, My Aged Care submissions, assessment preparation, and evidence compilation. Record deletion on the timeline is now more reliable across all record states.

Simplified Mini creation and better visibility into how Minis work — create a Mini with just a name, view its profile and memories, and see which groups it belongs to.

Record keeping on the timeline

A new timeline view shows all your customer records in one chronological feed, and you can now create records with the help of a Mini whenever you need to capture information.

Mini Memories & Help Centre

Mini Memories let Minis understand and adapt to different staff types, and an enhanced Help Centre brings in-app chat support and smart search suggestions.

Advanced Knowledge Search

Minis are now aware of dates and timeframes in your data — ask about "falls in the past week" or "last June's incident reports" and get precise, time-filtered results.

Minis can now present and help fill out forms through the chat interface, and Minikai supports Single Sign-On via OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.

Welcome to your Minis

The launch of Minikai — dedicated AI assistants called "Minis" for each client, with document uploads and user access management.

What's New

  • AI Minis for each client — create a dedicated Mini for each resident or participant. Each Mini serves as that person's virtual advocate, holding all their relevant care documents and information.
  • Knowledge base document uploads — upload care plans, assessments, progress notes, policies, and more into a Mini's knowledge base. The Mini indexes these documents and uses them to answer questions or generate reports.
  • User groups & sharing controls — manage access to Minis through flexible user groups and sharing settings. Share organisation-wide, with specific teams, or keep private to certain staff.
